Elemental Health

Updated: Oct 7, 2022

The elements of nature live in our body, we are 60% water, we breathe air to live, the internal fire regulates our temperature and transforms our food and the earth that is our body, minerals and nutrients, where we live and feed ourselves. Relate, recognize, live with the elements in our body and the way in which interacting in our system to balance and strengthen them gives us and empowers our physical, mental and spiritual health.

Our planet and everything that lives on it, is composed of the elements, the Water that runs through the rivers and lives in the seas, the lagoons, the Air that blows from the trees and that we breathe, the Fire that lives in the belly of the mountains and that transforms and heats our food that nurtures us, and the Earth itself that grows the seeds and sustains us in the ground we walk on. These living elements in our system sustain life on our planet and give us what is necessary for our survival, in a primordial and natural way.

We have a deep relationship, not only in the external aspect of nature, but also in our body composition, and the knowledge of this, the work and integration of these in our lives, gives us the gift of connecting with our nature, and live a life with deep meaning and health nourished by our relationship with these elements.

The imposed system, technology and the current state of our society have permanently disconnected us from our human nature, from nature and from the source of life, health and harmony that this connection gives us. A disconnection that has only benefited pharmaceutical companies and the consumer market that is ready to supply the anxiety and depression that this disconnection has brought us with distraction and consumerism, drugs and alcohol.

Perfect health, as our ancestral and natural traditions see it, is rooted in Balance, in the holistic relationship of our mind, emotions, body and spirit, in the spiritual and matter unified. These different fields of life are synchronized, intertwined and feed each other. In the search for health and harmony we must work with these pillars of being in order to live fully, in this way our search for peace, health and harmony must take into account the aspects that give life to being, the elements of nature, natural cycles, our unique essence, our mind and emotions.

In this work with the elements we are going to learn from the ancient legacy that since the beginning of time has lived in human memory and how, by embodying these teachings and communing with the elements that have lived since the beginning of time, we can find a source of sacred and practical power for our life, physical, mental and spiritual health.
